PATCO is replacing the high-pressure sodium lighting fixtures currently in place at the Collingswood and Haddonfield stations with new, energy efficient LED parking lot lighting systems that will result in a higher quality of lighting.
LED lighting systems will use 50 to 60 percent less energy than the older lighting systems, which consume a large amount of electricity over the life of the unit. With the longer life expectancy of the LED systems, the fixtures will need to be serviced less often and will provide uniform lighting consistently.
